MINI SOAP AND GLORY MAKEUP HAUL

MINI SOAP AND GLORY MAKEUP HAUL

Hello lovely readers, for today's post I wanted to share a few new products I've bought from the Soap and Glory Makeup range. I've only ever used the Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Glosses from Soap and Glory but I've always wanted to try out more from their range and Boots were having a 3 for 2 offer on so I thought now would be the right time to get some new makeup from their range.
There's just one more thing - how amazing is the Soap and Glory packaging?! It makes me feel all vintage and I love that about it!

The first item I got was the Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer - I have really dark circles under my eyes and they are quite small too so I really wanted something that would brighten them up! I've been lusting after the Bobbi Brown one for so long but really wanted to try this too, and since this is a little bit more accessible to find I thought I'd try this one first. This Concealer has a three step system consisting of two different toned Concealers and one Powder to seal them in. I've not used this yet but can't wait to try it out and let you know my thoughts on it.

The next item is the Soap and Glory One Heck Of A Blot Powder, I just really needed a new Poweder and the packaging was just too lovely and it was 3 for 2 so... I just got too excited about it.

And the third and final item is the Soap and Glory Lid Stuff Eye Shadow Quad - I chose the Brow shades as I thought I could use this as my everyday sort of shades, the colours look really wearable and just look so luxuriously good, can't wait to try this now! I think think this is the one I'm most excited about trying since I've heard a lot of good things about it.

JULY FAVOURITES 2014

JULY FAVOURITES 2014

Hello lovely readers for today's post I am going to talk you through my July 2014 Favourites. There's been a few things I've been loving this month so I couldn't wait to share them with you. There's some beauty, food and lifestyle favourites so lets just get started! :D

My first favorite for this month is the Nail Polish I am wearing on my nails today - Essie's  Ole Caliente this is described as 'A red-orange with pink undertone'. This is exactly how I would describe this colour it is a beautiful vibrant, red/orange with a hint of pink. I love this! It's bright and would look good on all skin tones, it enhances a tan but makes paler skin (like mine) look more tanned. It's a great summer colour and something I keep re-applying. The only thing is my nails are growing quite quickly so I do have to re-apply this often. I'm not usually as interested in Nail Polishes but this one has totally converted me. Now I can't wait to have a look to see what other Polishes I have, to see if I love them just as much!

My second favourite of the month is the Limited Edition Sugared Almond Tangle Teezer - I've only just got this but already I love it! It's the same as the original Tangle Teezer but the colour is Limited Edition I think. The colours are green and pink and combination which I wasn't so sure about but now I just think it works so well. I've been lusting after a Tangle Teezer for so long so I'm so happy I finally bought one. I got this on from ASOS but I did look around at a few other places, but thought this one was my favourite and was a good price too.

My third favourite of this month is the Gap Biscuit Sticks - Coated Chocolate Flavour. These are so good! These chocolate coated biscuit sticks are a re-purchase from Tesco. These delicious Japanese biscuits are always on my list when I got to a larger Tesco store, these biscuits are from the World Food section - (I get excited every time we go to the World Food section, it's just too good!). These taste really similar to the Mikado biscuits which I also really like. These are great price too, so I keep re-purchasing them because they are good value for money.

The fourth of my favourites is a Eye Shadow Duo I featured in an earlier blog post, it's the Model Co Eye Shadow Duo in Bronzed Goddess. This has become my new daily makeup staple, I've been wearing this a lot for the past few weeks, it's just great duo for warmer days. But it is glittery so it may be more of an 'evening out' sort of product, but I quite like wearing it throughout the day. I love a little bit of shimmery Eye Shadow now and then.

This is very well loved :)

This final favourite for the month of July is The Body Shop Green Tea and Lemon Body, Room and Linen Spritz - This smells so refreshing! It's a true Citrus/Lemony cent than instantly freshens up a room. Although this product is said to be for the Body, Room and Linens, I usually just use this as a room spray. It's quite strong so you only need a few sprays. I like to use this in the morning to freshen up my room - it's also a great summery scent as it smells sweet and fruity.

LIMITED EDITION TANGLE TEEZER: SUGARED ALMOND

LIMITED EDITION TANGLE TEEZER:  SUGARED ALMOND

Hello lovely readers for today's post I wanted to share with you a recent purchase I made on ASOS, I know everyone loves the Tangle Teezer but I didn't own one, so I am really pleased I do now. I only just recieved this item today but couldn't wait to share it with you all.

This is just the regular Tangle Teezer but it has a limited edition design. I don't usually get products that are limited edition but to be completely honest, I couldn't stop thinking about the name of the name of this one. Suguared Almond just sounds too pretty, all I keep seeing in my head whenever I think of this is pastel colour Macaroons (Is it just me?).  The second reason I loved this design so much is the colours on the brush, pink and green - I didn't think it would work so well but I just love the combination of the two. I also think this will be great to travel with as it's quite compact, (I'm one of those people that carries pretty much everything in one bag) so this will be great for me when I am out and about.
I also thought that this would be good as you are supposed to be able to use this brush on dry and wet hair so it should work well for creating a number of different styles.

Hope you liked this post :)

REVIEW: ORGANIC SURGE SKIN PERFECTING POLISH

REVIEW: ORGANIC SURGE SKIN PERFECTING POLISH

Hello lovely readers, for today's post I am going to be reviewing the Organic Surge Skin Perfecting Polish. My Sister gave this to me to try and I really liked it, the Polish itself doesn't have large exfoliating beads in it, it has smaller ones which means that it isn't as rough on the skin. I personally have quite sensitive skin so I don't really like using harsh body scrubs. But I don't find this to be too harsh on my skin, but it still exfoliates the skin.

NAME OF PRODUCT
Organic Surge Skin Perfecting Polish

Description
This body scrub is so different from any other body scrub I have tried, the scent is different and the texture is different but in a good way. The scrub I have is fragranced with organic Rosemary and Lemon essential oils. This combination is lush! It smells so naturally clean and fresh and not too strong. The body polish is also said to be suitable for all skin types. The product itself comes in a 150ml bottle and has well designed packaging that includes colours such as green, silver an a luxuriously lovely Lavender. There are other products in the Organic Surge range that I have tried and I do really like, I still have a soap to try out after finishing off the Shower Gel I am currently using.

HOW I USED THE PRODUCT
I just used this body polish like any other and the gently exfoliates, softens and moisturizes the skin.

MY THOUGHTS...
I did really like this body polish, the smell was good and the polish cleansed the skin really well and was more gentle than some other body scrubs/polishes I have used. I think the packaging is really lovely too!

Hope you liked this post :)

MY FAVOURITE BLOG PICTURES TAKEN FOR MY BLOG SO FAR... #1

MY FAVOURITE BLOG PICTURES TAKEN FROM MY BLOG SO FAR... #1

Hello lovely readers, today's post is less of a long read and more like a photograph based post (please let me know if you like this sort of thing on my blog or if not I will do more written posts, but I am happy to do both). So because yesterday was my 50th blog post I thought I would share some of my favourite pictures so far from my past blog posts, I'm not the best a photography but I do love it so the more I blog the more I can practice which is one of the reasons I love blogging. Some of the images were taken on my phone an others on my Camera, most don't have any filters added to them but some of the one's taken on my phone probably do.
There's no particular order for these photographs and some may not have appeared on my blog but were taken when I started blogging on a more regular basis. I thought this would be quite a different post so hope you like it.

Can you tell I like Sunglasses?

LOOOVE this Shower Gel

WHAT'S YOUR IDEAL SUMMER DAY OFF?

WHAT'S YOUR IDEAL SUMMER DAY OFF?

Hello lovely readers for today's post I wanted to find out more about what would be your ideal day off during the summer. This could be your ideal day off Work, College, School, University or the weekend. I would love to know how you would spend your perfect day. Would you go shopping, spend time friends, go for Picnic (wearing a good Sun cream with SPF of course),
What would you do on your day off?

MY IDEAL SUMMER DAY OFF...
I think I'd wake up at around 9am (not too late not too early, I'm really not a morning person!). Then I would go and pick out my outfit for the day, I just bought a polka dot blue dress which has a really light breathable material which will keep me cooler during the day, I'd then pair this with some comfy flat shoes. Then it's time for me to get washed and dressed. After getting ready I would just tie up my hair and put a little bit of Orange lipstick on, I'm loving Orange lipstick at the moment I think it's perfect for any season. Then it's just a bit of roll-on deodorant and a spritz of perfume and I'm ready!
The next part of my day would be breakfast, my ideal breakfast would be... Bran Flakes and Almond Milk with fruit juice - a Cranberry and Orange Juice mix would be amazing! (It really is lovely!).
Then it's time for my ideal day off to begin, firstly I'd update my blog post for the day, then I would go shopping during the morning in my local city, lunch time would be Mexican food -  delicious!
Then I would go for nice long walk in the afternoon, taking pictures as I go. Then it's back home for a nice cool soft drink, the a nice of chillin' out and maybe a film or two and perhaps Pasta - yep Pasta of course!

Hope you liked this post :)

UMBERTO GIANNINI INSTANT BEAUTY LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER REVIEW

UMBERTO GIANNINI INSTANT BEAUTY LEAVE-IN CONDITIONER REVIEW

Hello lovely readers for today's post I am going to be reviewing the Umberto Giannini Leave-jn Conditioner. I've had this product for several months now and nearly used it all up, so I thought now would be a good time to review it as I still have a little bit of it left. I got this product as part of a set but I think it is still sold as an individual product in Boots.

NAME OF PRODUCT
Umberto Giannini Instant Beauty Leave-In Conditioner.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This Leave-in conditioner comes in a 200ml spray bottle. The packaging is really lovely as it features a really pretty illustration on the front of the product. The item itself is easy to use, and the spray cap makes it easier to use as much or as little products as you need. The conditioner is said to 'Smoothes and strengthens dry, damaged hair'. I think this conditioner does soften the hair and makes if feel slightly more hydrated too.

HOW I USE THE PRODUCT
I spray this product through my hair during the day do refresh it, I often do this when the weather is warm and I know I'm not really going to be doing anything with my hair, just putting it into a bun or ponytail. I like to brush my hair after applying this product to distribute it throughout my hair, ensuring that all of my hair can have some leave-in conditioning goodness. (I'm not sure if that made much sense...) I do this a few times a week if my hair is feeling a little bit dry, which it usually does especially since the weather is quite humid at the moment.

MY THOUGHTS...
I do really like the formula of this product it works well at refreshing the hair and making it feel smooth and soft. Although, the fragrance isn't my favourite scent, it's a little strong for me but I think overall this is a nice conditioner as it does help to smooth out my hair and keep in looking shiny.

What are you favourite leave-in conditioners?

GARNIER FRESH ESSENTIALS EYE MAKEUP REMOVER REVIEW

GARNIER FRESH ESSENTIALS EYE MAKEUP REMOVER REVIEW

Hello lovely readers for today's post I thought I would do a review, I wasn't sure exactly what to review for today's post but I thought I would choose an item that every Makeup lover usually owns/needs. And with that mysterious intro I am going to get into the real introduction of this review...

NAME OF PRODUCT
Garnier Fresh Essentials Eye Makeup Remover - Enriched with Grape Extract

DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT
This refreshing and lightly scented Eye Makeup Remover comes in a small 150ml bottle, the packaging consists of a white plastic 'flip up' lid that makes the product much easier to use. The bottle itself is make from green plastic but it is transparent so you can see into the bottle. The product is enriched with grape extract making it smell clean and fresh. The Eye Makeup Remover is also said to 'Remove even Waterproof Makeup'. This was one of the reasons I thought I would try this product as I often wear waterproof eye makeup. I thought this one sounded like it would soothe the eye area whilst gently removing eye makeup - which is exactly what I found it to do. I removed my eye makeup really well and didn't take to long to do this.

HOW I USED THE PRODUCT
I put four drops of the Eye Makeup Remover on two cotton pads and held the over my closed eyes for 20 to 30 seconds, then gently removed them. I wiped away the left over product with the back of each cotton pad and repeated the step again I had worn quite a lot of Mascara/Eyeliner that day. I then wash my face as usual and carried on with my evening skincare routine.

MY THOUGHTS
I really like this product it smells nice and fresh, it works really well but is gentle on the skin and removes most of my eye makeup with one use. I like the 'flip up' lid as it makes it easy to access the product and the transparent packaging is useful as you can see how much product you have left. The only thing I would say is that you need quite a bit of product on a cotton pad which means that you use it quite quickly. But having said that it is an affordable product so I still think I would repurchase this Eye Makeup Remover again.

Hope you liked this post :)

SMALL RIMMEL LONDON HAUL

SMALL RIMMEL LONDON HAUL

Hello lovely readers, for today's post I am going to be sharing a few items that I recently purchased from Rimmel London. Asos were having a sale on some beauty products earlier in the month so I thought I would get a few bits that I haven't tried before.
Although two of the items are more suited to the Autumn/Winter as they are both deep dark red Lipsticks, I still had to buy them. I'd been lusting after one of the colours for ages so was really happy to see that it had been reduced in price. I bought three items from Rimmel all three are products/shades I hadn't tried before but really wanted to.

The first item is the Rimmel London Fix and Perfect Pro Primer in number 002. I've only tried this product a few times, I'm not sure if it makes my Makeup last much longer but it does soften the skin and isn't too heavily scented which is good as I have quite sensitive skin. The formula of the product is a light texture which comes out of the bottle white but fades into the skin well leaving your skin feeling soft and well moisturized. Having said that, I still always apply a moisturizer underneath this Primer as I find this needs something to stick to. I do like how this Primer feels on the skin it's soft and not sticky but I still need to test it out a few more times to see if it's going to be a staple in my Makeup bag.

The next item I purchased is the Rimmel London Kate Lipstick in shade 22 - This is so lovely! It's a highly pigmented red Lipstick with a slight sheen to it. I've not worn this shade yet as I'm saving it for the cooler months but I already know I am really going to love wearing it. The colour and the scent of the Lipstick is also really nice, it's a subtle sweet smell which I really like. I think this colour would look lovely as a strong red lip or blended in to the lips lightly to create a really pretty tint to the lips.

The final item (possibly my favourite!) that I purchased is the Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick in shade 360 - As You Want Victoria. This is a beautiful dark red that I cannot wait to wear during Autumn and Winter. I know it seems a bit early to be talking about the winter months but I love them the most. And I know I am going to love wearing this Lipstick just as much. The formula for this Lipstick is also very moisturizing so it will help keep your lips hydrated and looking like you have just applied your favourite lip colour. I love this shade and can't wait to wear it!

Hope you liked this post :)

I don't own a bikini but if I did I think I would love one with a monochrome tribal print on it.

4. Favourite summer Frappuccino from Starbucks?

5. Favourite Fake Tan?
I don't really use fake tan but if I did I would use the Garnier gradual tan - I love how it smells.

PROJECT PAN 2014 UPDATE #1

PROJECT PAN - SUMMER 2014 - UPDATE # 1

Hello lovely readers today I am going to be updating you on how I have been getting on with the Project Pan that I set for myself. I really wanted to use up some products, below are some of the products and a list of other products I have used up during the last month.
I haven't used up that much and some products I have had to throw away due to them being expired.

PROJECT PAN UPDATE...

These are some of the items I wanted to hit pan on/use up during my project pan. I think I didn't really give myself enough time for this project, I haven't really used any of these makeup items up completely and I have only hit pan on my MUA Eye Shadows. But I have stuck to using most of these products for nearly every day for the last month, I've not worn makeup for a few days in order to let my skin 'breathe', but most of the time these are the products that have been on my face.
I think the Rimmel BB Cream is a little bit too dark for me so I use it my adding a little to my moisturiser. The Collection Pressed Powder is something I have used pretty much everyday too. And I finally hit pan on my MUA Eye Shadows, so I am really happy about that.
My other two foundations from both Revlon and Rimmel London are products I haven't reached for as much, but I really do prefer them to my BB Cream so I think I am going to use them more instead. I have also had to throw a few items away like my Collection Concealer in shade 2, this was just too dark for my skin tone so hopefully there will be shade 1 in Boots the next time I need one.
I also finished my Trevor Sorbie Dry Shampoo, which I am really happy about. This has taken me so long to finish but now I can finally use some of my other hair products.

PRODUCTS I USED UP...

Skincare
L'oreal Paris Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution - This worked well at removing makeup but I did end up using a lot of the solution for each use so it didn't really last long. I think I am still going to try new makeup removers but this wasn't too bad for the money.

Makeup
Maybeline New York The Rocket Express Mascara - This Mascara work really well at creating long and defined lashes but went quite dry so I had to throw this away, although it did work well so I would repurchase this in the future. Also I love the packaging!

Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss - I'm not quite sure what shade I had in this but it was a really pretty pink colour. I thought this Lip Gloss was quite sticky and wasn't really sure about the scent of it. I think it was a lovely colour but the formula wasn't for me. But I am looking forward to trying other Soap and Glory makeup products in the future. I really want to try their Kick Ass Concealer and a few other bits!

Wall's Twister Lip Balm - I Loved the scent of this! It smelled just like Twister ice lollies and was an item I carried in my bag everywhere. I think I would buy this again in the future (I purchase this from Topshop), but I do have quite a few Lip Balms to use up first.

Body Care
Rituals Magic Touch Cherry Blossom and Rice Milk Ultra Rich Body Cream - This was so lovely, it felt so luxurious and smells beautiful. The cream felt so soft and really hydrated the skin, I would repurchase this again, I loved it.

Calvin Klein Euphoria Body Lotion - This smells just like the perfume, smells good and moisturised well.

Hope you liked this post :)

I LOVE NOTEBOOKS...

I LOVE NOTEBOOKS...

Hello lovely readers, today I would like to share with you some of the lovely notebooks and stationary I have been loving recently. I am one of those people that is always taking notes, so I always need plenty of pieces of paper to write my thoughts and ideas on. But since there as so many lovely Notebooks our there I thought I would see what I could find to keep all of my notes together. The Notebooks that I have photographed for this post are all from TKMaxx and were all really inexpensive some cost £2.00 and some cost £1.00 making them a cost effective way to keep you organised. Some of the Notebooks were also in packs of two so you got an even better deal for your money.  I thought I would buy some smaller notebooks for when I am travelling so that I can keep them in my bag.  I also got some taller Notebooks to keep on my desk so that they are easily accessible and I can write more detailed notes in them.

Although these Notebooks are all from TKMaxx you can also find similar styles in other shops, I really like the Paperchase and WHSmith one's. But you can also often find some lovely stationary in Supermarkets too. I really like the stationary section at Wilkinson's they have lot's of really affordable stationary with lot's of cute designs on them. I also really love the Oxford Notebooks, I think they look so sleek and really encourage me to write down my ideas for future blog posts!

In this post I also featured the STAEDTLER triplus pens, these work so well. They glide over the page so easily as you write. I have the STEADTLER triplus colour set and the triplus fineliners. I love the bright colours of all of these pens as they really stand out on the page and are great for making notes.

Which Notebook is your favourite? I think the striped Notebook is my favourite:)

Hope you liked this post :)
