Sounds Like Spring...

Sounds Like Spring...

So its Spring time and that means one thing, my music playlists have changed to make way for some new songs, here ar some of the songs that I will be listening to this spring...

These songs are all different music genres, I wanted to create a list that would suit all music tastes.

Mindy Gledhill - Anchor
This is a really beautiful song, I would say it is easy-listening, its lovely and perfect for a spring day

Jess Penner - Life is Rosy
This is such a feel good song, its up beat, happy and a great soundtrack for the warmer weather, I will be listening to this lots more this spring

Katie Sky - Paradise
A song I heard recently but one that I liked as soon as I heard it, there's a great backing track and the song it very much a spring/summer anthem

Duke Dumont ft Jax Jones - I Got U
Loving this song, every time I hear it I can't help but sing along. It's becoming one of my new favourites, its a song I can imagine listening to on a warm evening, when the sun's just setting.

The Killers - Just Another Girl
All I can say is I love this, I love every song The killers have made and this song just makes me want to press the replay button on the radio. Its another great song that I will still be listening to for years to come.

Marianas Trench - Celebrity Status
So pretty much every song I've heard from Marianas Trench has been brilliant, I thought this song was sort of pop/rock so it was sure to be a great spring/summer tune!

Aloe Blacc - Green Lights
I love this song when it was first released and I love it now, its such a great song and always makes me feel happy, the music and Aloe's voice = a great song that always makes me think of spring/summer.

Nicki Minaj - Super Bass
A great song, sure to get people on the dance floor

The Beatles - Here Comes the Sun
A classic song that will surely get you feeling the warmer weather

The Kooks - Ooh La
A song that I could listen to any time of the year, but I'm really enjoying listening to it at the moment

Simple Plan ft Taka (from One OK Rock)
This song is all about spring/summer and is a great song!

Here are some of the songs I will be listening to this Spring, what are some of your favourite Spring
songs?

Beauty Haul - Rimmel and Collection - Part 1

Beauty Haul - Rimmel and Collection

So recently I have bought a few new makeup products it all started when I needed a new concealer so I went into Boots to buy another Collection Lasting Perfection Conealer but they didn't have my shade, so I thought I'd try the next shade. I usually wear shade 1 but sometimes this is a little bit too light for my skin tone, so this time I went into Boots I decided to get shade 2. While looking at the Collection counter I saw that there was a 3 for 2 offer on, so I thought I would have a look to see if there was anything else I wanted to try.  While I was there I saw the Illuminating Touch Brightening Concealer in shade 1 - I'd aways wanted to try an under eye concealer but never really noticed one before so I was really excited to see this. When I got home I couldn't wait to try it and it worked really well, my under eyes are always a bit dark in the morning so I thought this would be great at brightening them up. To set the two new concealers I bought a new powder to set them. My last powder reacted badly with my skin and made it really dry so I had to stop using it. The new powder I got is the Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Powder in shade 01fair.

I got a few things from Rimmel in an online Asos order when they were had a discount on beauty products so I got a few products. I really wanted to try some new lipstick shades. I'd tried a Kate Moss lipstick before and really liked the formula so I wanted to try the other lipsticks Rimmel had to offer.

These include: Rimmel Lipstick in Coral Queen - As the name suggests this is a bright coral colour which I think would work really well for the spring/summer months .

The second lipstick is a Moisture Renew Lipstick in In Love with Ginger - This again is an vivid coral colour, its a lipstick I'd heard people talk about numerous times so I really wanted to try it. Its a really lovely colour so I can't wait to try it.

I chose another lipstick but I'm not quite sure which formula it is but it is in shade Nude Pink - Its a really pretty nude pink which looks like it has a nice sheen to it, perfect for an everyday look.

The last Moisture Renew Lipstick I bought is in Nottinghill Nude - This is a beautiful neautral colour that I've been wearing a lot since I got it. Its one of my new favourites!

And finally for lipsticks I bought two Kate Moss Lipsticks the first in shade 113 - This is a really pale nude that I think works well for an 'everyday look'.

And the final lipstick is in shade isI the in shade 110 - This is a bright red/orange that I think looks really summery.

I love all of the different shades here, which one is your favourite?

Best wishes :)

Buying Sweets and Going to Boots

Buying Sweets and Going to Boots

Here are just some of the things I did yesterday...

So I had quite a busy day yesterday, doing work for University and then sorting out my room. But before all of that I went into one of the nearby town's to have a look around and do some general shopping. Whilst looking around I went into Boots (haul coming soon!) and went to a few other places just to have a look around. While I was looking I notices some really pretty sweets, they looked so cute and the packaging looked really traditional so I got a few. Then went into Boots and got a few things from Collection, I really needed a new concealer so I picked one up then (its also 3 for 2 at the moment too), so I thought now is the best time to get something.

After looking around a few of the shops I went back home and we had some lovely soup, tomato and vegetable it was lovely but even better with a bit of mozzarella cheese on top!

During the rest of the day I just did some work, I needed to catch up on some work so I was typing up a few notes and then watched a few films later on in the day.

Best wishes :)
